Massimo has lived in Cleveland for five years and loves the people. He and his wife, Fabiola, have one son named Alessandro. In his spare time he enjoys playing soccer and listening to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Dire Straits, Pavarotti, and J. S. Bach. You can often find Massimo enjoying the company of friends at Il Bacio in Little Italy. Over the years, Massimo has played many auditions and has many stories. His very first audition was at the Catania Opera House in Sicily when he was 17 years old. There were more than 25 candidates and at the end of the day he was the winner. He doesn’t know why or how, but he thought the whole experience was really fun. His most memorable experience onstage was when he walked onto the stage at Severance Hall for his first concert with TCO. There was a full house and he felt proud being a part of this important and historical orchestra. Massimo is a faculty member at CIM and enjoys teaching students of all ages because, as he says, “When I teach I learn from the people.”
