About Bryan:

Bryan, who thinks Cleveland is a great place to raise a family, has lived in Cleveland over 25 years. He and his wife have brought up their three children (plus their current pet, a white poodle) while taking advantage of the Cleveland area's great schools and excellent museums. He is an avid cyclist and enjoys the perfect paved pathways of the Valley. One of his favorite restaurants is Brio at Legacy Village. You can find Bryan teaching at the Cleveland Institute of Music, Cleveland State University or Case Western Reserve University. We asked Bryan about his favorite audition story: "I was given music to sight read at the end of my Cleveland Orchestra audition and when I saw the excerpt (a portion of the entire work), I realized that I knew the passage and had it memorized. As a result, the only time I have sight read music in an audition was with my eyes closed."
