About Alan:

If you see a 1952 yellow pick-up truck driving in and around Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, give Alan a wave.  Alan DeMattia is a native Clevelander, and when eating out with his family he says, "The Town House in Chesterland, OH, is a refreshing experience." He has enjoyed creating great concerts with the "old master" conductors, such as Kurt Sanderling, Pierre Boulez, Herbert Blomstedt, and Christoph von Dohnanyi. He also has a collection of old instruments including, a Kruspe and an Alexander, both of which are over 100 years old.
